Research & Development
Principles
Research & Development is part of Insuco’s DNA, which includes high-level researchers in its founding teams.
Driving innovation, our experimental approach, centred on applied research, feeds on our experience and our work, shared through scientific publications and communications at international and national conferences.
Our R & D approach is fundamental as it allows us to enrich our analyses, our tools and our practices in a transversal manner and to stimulate the interactions between the various disciplines mobilised within our teams.
Insuco puts its R & D at the service of its customers and partners by offering them new products, adapted to the evolutions of the practices and the requirements of the field.
Our approach is articulated around 4 main axes:
Development
Developing our tools and methods on an on-going basis, adapting them to the contexts of study and innovating in order to always meet the needs of our clients
Capitalisation
Capitalising on these approaches and their evolution through publications, field notes and feedback, to pool innovations that prove to be conclusive
Centralisation
Pooling the data and having a complete documentary system, which includes the legal documentation by country, as well as articles and scientific works, for all the disciplinary fields that we mobilise
Monitoring
Conducting continuous monitoring with the objective of promoting best practices within Insuco
Institute For Social Research in Africa
Insuco promotes social research in Africa and South-South cooperation through the Institute for Social Research in Africa (IFSRA). IFSRA brings together researchers driven by the desire to create synergies between their fields of expertise in the social sciences and translate them into applications that are useful in the field.
IFSRA’s activities are organised around 5 pillars:

Developing research projects with Universities of the North and the South
Specific studies
Deepening social science themes through the implementation of specific studies in the African field
Scientific valorisation
Promoting the academic valorisation of studies conducted by Insuco and IFSRA through writing articles and participation in international seminars
Capacity building
Building capacity through the provision of teaching at African universities, welcoming and mentoring students
Scientific popularisation
Encouraging scientific popularisation by giving lectures to the general public in African countries
