Training and technical backstopping on social aspects for the use of an Environmental and Social Control Guide for mining projects in Guinea

Mission:
Insuco intervened to reinforce the operational capacities in social aspects of the executives of the Ministries of the Environment and Mines on the appropriation of the Guide to environmental and social control of extractive projects in Guinea. We intervened to deepen the knowledge of ministerial executives in ESIA and ESMP, then we trained them in the different steps to be carried out in order to carry out a social control mission on a mining project.

Supporting the organisation of a two-day training course for 16 technical managers from the
Guinean government who carry out environmental and social controls.
