Design and facilitation of participatory workshops to strengthen community empowerment for a just energy transition under the EITI framework in Colombia
Mission:
Insuco was engaged to design and facilitate participatory workshops to assess progress and strengthen community empowerment within the EITI Colombia framework. The client expected structured spaces to present previous results, validate action plans, and generate concrete inputs to guide future subnational strategies on the just energy transition.The process involved coordination with the International EITI Secretariat, EITI Colombia, and collaboration with the Universidad Externado de Colombia. Key participants included civil society representatives, local stakeholders, and other members of the multi-stakeholder EITI platform. Insuco mobilized expertise in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and territorial analysis to ensure inclusive and effective dialogue.
Results:
Key deliverables included the implementation of workshops in La Guajira and Cesar, as well as a final report compiling findings, feedback, and actionable recommendations for future interventions.
