Influx Management Strategic Framework and Plan
Client : SMFG (BHP-Newmont Group)
Mission:
To provide comprehensive baseline data and estimated projections of migration flows depending on the choices made by the client as well as a zoning plan for the village closest to the mine including:
- Migration scenarios according to the different strategic options open to the client,
- Recommendations for managing these migration scenarios,
- Development plans for the most affected village,
- Mapping of all these aspects.
Results:
We provided the client with an operational tool to help plan for and anticipate migration phenomena for the different project phases as well as a plan for organising development of the most affected village.
