Environmental Impact Assessment for the construction of the Balbala wastewater treatment plant
Client : Vinci Construction Grands Projets
Mission:
The project to build and operate a wastewater treatment plant in Balbala has received a grant of 12 million euros from the European Union (EU). It is part of a local approach to improve the situation of the population in terms of health and the environment and will necessarily have a very positive impact on the sustainable development of Djibouti, as it responds perfectly to target 6.2 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aims to ensure that everyone has access to adequate sanitation and hygiene services under equitable conditions.
Insuco was commissioned to carry out an environmental impact assessment.

- A legal and institutional review
- EIES
- ESMP
