Consultation and facilitation processes with stakeholders for the implementation of an irrigation project

Mission:
As part of a project to develop an irrigation scheme in Saday (Obock region), Insuco was asked to conduct consultations with all the stakeholders to define in accurate and concrete terms the responsibilities of each actor in the project management process but also to ensure that the communication and information of all stakeholders were conducted in a transparent way, in order to develop a system with shared and consensual rules for the project management, development and use of irrigated plots.
Results:
The consultation meetings were held with all the stakeholders and FAO representatives. All of them received accurate information about the project implementation process and its implications. A project management agreement, materializing precisely the responsibilities of each stakeholder, was signed by all parties.
