Recent and ongoing projects

Mission:

Insuco deployed a specialized team, including a Project Leader, Social Specialist, and Business and Human Rights Specialist, to execute a four-phase methodology over seven months.

1. Readiness Phase: We performed a preliminary identification of leaders and validated key actors on the ground in Chumbivilcas and Pasco. We also conducted virtual interviews with stakeholders in Cajamarca and Moquegua to refine the training program according to specific regional needs.
2. Implementation in Chumbivilcas: Our team designed and executed a targeted call for participants, managed all logistics, and facilitated dedicated workshops. These sessions were tailored for territorial authorities, private sector representatives, and civil society groups, including indigenous peoples, culminating in integrated multi-stakeholder workshops to practice joint problem-solving.
3. Implementation in Pasco: We replicated the successful workshop model in the Pasco region, ensuring that local authorities and community members were equipped with the same level of technical knowledge and dialogue skills.
4. Knowledge Management: We coordinated a high-level event in Cajamarca to co-construct a “Guide for Strengthening Territorial Leadership Prior to Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue.” This involved synthesizing field insights, incorporating feedback from NIR and other strategic partners, and producing a finalized version of the guide.

Results:

The deliverables provided included:

• Validated actor mapping and situational diagnosis for each region.
• A specialized training curriculum and methodology for territorial dialogue.
• A comprehensive “Guide for Strengthening Territorial Leadership.”
• A final technical report documenting the process and strategic recommendations.
