Support for institutional strengthening and design of an integrated territorial development strategy for the municipality of Quibdó
Client : RIMISP, in partnership with Ford Foundation and ACUA Foundation
Mission:
On request of the Latin American Center for Rural Development (RIMISP) and of the Ford Foundation, Insuco was asked to design a set of methodological tools to facilitate the elaboration of a territorial development strategy, emphasizing the promotion of cultural assets and local heritage to support the economic development of the municipality of Quibdó (department of Chocó, Colombia).
Results:
Our partners received a methodological framework addressing the different steps to build the strategy and to systematize the collection of key information. Furthermore, Insuco contributed to structure and facilitate participative workshops with local communities.
