Recent and ongoing projects

Mission:

TotalEnergies has decided to reduce the footprint of its LNG Project in Papua New Guinea to minimize its environmental and social impacts. As a result, TotalEnergies wanted to take stock of its efforts to avoid / minimize / reduce its negative impacts.

During an initial study phase, the Insuco-Oryx consortium has established the physical footprint reduction effort in the Pre-Project (T0) and Pre-FEED (T1) phases. TotalEnergies then wanted to continue the work by extending it to the Pre-Design phase (T2). The objective was to:

• Carry out the E&S multi-criteria analysis;
• Finalize the processing and analysis of the GIS data
• Propose a Simplified Action Plan.

Results:

The following deliverables have been submitted to the client:

·  Updated Register of footprint reduction actions;

·  Updated Review of alternatives’ options;

·  Updated Footprint reduction effort assessment;

·  Updated Simplified Action Plan;

·  Redflags, Greenflags and recommendations.
