Mission:
Sunpower (Total Group), together with its partner Greenmillennia Energy Limited, is in charge of developing the Isiolo Solar Project and will construct and operate a 40MW grid-connected solar farm using advanced photovoltaic technology. Given the importance of the project and its impact on land, it was recommended to develop a Resettlement Action Plan (RAP).
Results:
Insuco delivered to the client an operational Resettlement Action Plan (RAP), which includes:
- A legal review of national and international obligations in this field
- The proposed strategy, in compliance with legal obligations
- An estimation of the budget required for its implementation
- Recommendations regarding consultation, communication and grievance mechanisms
