Mission:
The assignment was to elaborate the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) and Livelihood Restoration Programme (RLP) for the families affected by the System 3 Phase 2 and 3 project and to provide accompaniment for the implementation of the RAP in full congruence with the Resettlement Policy Framework, National Standards Framework and World Bank Policies. The Resettlement Plan contemplated the design of measures, actions and procedures for the people affected by the Project SYSTEM 3 Sanitary Sewerage System, to receive adequate solutions and fair compensation for the loss of their land (land or houses) or assets.
Results:
The following outputs were delivered to the client:
- Inventory databases of assets and persons affected by the project and a socio-economic database.
- A socio-economic report
- A livelihood restoration plan
