Update and complements of technical, environmental and social studies of the Maneah-Linsan electric transmission line

Mission:
The Maneah-Linsan transmission line project is part of the evacuation line for the energy produced by the Koukoutamba hydroelectric dam to Conakry. As part of the preliminary design study, a study of the corridor from the Koukoutamba substation to the Maneah substation via the Linsan substation was already carried out. The objective of this second study is to update and complete it, with the aim to present the project to the donors’ boards, in particular the French Development Agency (AFD) and possibly the European Union (EU), to obtain financial commitments to launch the construction of the infrastructures.
Results:
Insuco has submitted: the Initial Environmental and Social Study, a Study of the line variations, the Economic and Social Impact Assessment, a Resettlement Policy Framework and the final Environmental and Social Management Plans.
