Mission:
Our mission consisted in designing an evaluation tool to assess the socio-economic impact of denominations of origin associated with artisanal and agri-food products in Colombia. One of the objectives of this study was to design an integrated evaluation tool, that could easily be adopted by producers / artisans and that could be adapted to other contexts in Latin America in the future.
Results:
The following deliverables were produced:
- Synthesis of the literature and of existing case studies
- Design of a turnkey tool and of the associated user guide, to allow the quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the impacts of denominations of origin in Colombia
- Training of the project stakeholders on how to use the tool
