Social Impact Assessment (SIA) and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP)
Client : Antea for the West African Power Pool (WAPP) (African Development Bank funding)
Mission:
To prepare the framework, the stakeholder engagement plan, the socio-economic baseline studies, the social impact assessment, the social management plan and the resettlement action plan including identification of all eligible parties for a project to connect the high-voltage power lines between two countries (along 1000km).
Results:
The client received an SIA that meets international, sub-regional and national (2 countries) standards, as well as an operational and effective impact monitoring and mitigation tool and a list of all affected persons.
