Mission:
The main objective of the project was to gather quantitative and qualitative data on production practices in the plantain and banana sector in Putumayo, in order to analyze production costs and socio-environmental dynamics. The study focused on producers and workers in the municipalities of Puerto Asís, Mocoa, and Puerto Guzmán, aiming to collect information that would serve as a foundation for the research and initiatives promoted by IFPRI through the Biodiversity for Resilient Ecosystems in Agricultural Landscapes project.
