Strengthening the technical capacities of the Development Bank of Ecuador B.P. and the Municipality of Cuenca in relation to sustainable urban mobility for the monitoring, follow-up, and evaluation of projects financed by KfW in the areas of coordination, social and environmental safeguards, communication, and citizen participation

Mission:

Insuco’s service is structured around the following components:

  • National Coordination of the MUS Technical Assistance Programme: Providing technical support, managing the consultant team and monitoring compliance with the work plan.
  • Capacity building in Sustainable Urban Mobility (SUM): specialised training, workshops with GADs, technical guides and programme positioning, aimed at the Development Bank of Ecuador B.P. and the Municipal GAD of Cuenca.
  • Environmental and Social Monitoring and Management Systems (SGAS): design of the MRV system for SUM financing, strengthening and digitisation of the SGAS, aligned with multilateral standards (KfW).
  • Implementation and specialised technical assistance: national coordination of expert support, support in the application of safeguards and technical closure of the consultancy.

Results:
