Toolkit for the social and environmental management of the waste management national strategy
Client : Antea in behalf of AFD
Mission:
Jordan is carrying out a series of activities in order to improve and optimize solid waste management at the national level. Insuco’s mission was to identify the social issues at stake and evaluate compensatory and resettlement measures for people affected by the project.
Results:
The client received a report containing the detail of all the social risks related to the implementation of the national waste management strategy, as well as the identification of people affected by the project, with an estimate of resettlement and compensation costs. In addition, terms of reference were proposed for any future study.
