Mission :

As part of the development of a mining project transitioning from its exploration to construction phase, a participatory social risk analysis was conducted to gather community perceptions of the potential risks associated with the project’s development and to develop a joint action plan for risk prevention and management. This also involved developing a tool for stakeholder mapping and defining engagement strategies tailored to the diverse range of actors involved.

Résultat :

The client received a set of decision support tools i) A turnkey tool for stakeholder analysis and mapping with an application example ii) an analysis of perceptions in terms of social risks of eight communities near the project and recommendations to guide the social management of the project according to the identified risks.
