Recent and ongoing projects

Mission:

As part of the development of a major mining project in transition from exploration to construction phase, achieve a participatory analysis of social risks to gather the communities perceptions with regard to the risks that could present the project and set the stage to develop a joint action plan for prevention and risk management. Second objective was to develop a stakeholder-mapping tool that will allow a dynamic and adapted definition of engagement strategies.

Results:

The client received a set of decision making tools

1. an analysis and stakeholder mapping tool with a example of application
2. a comprehensive analysis of social risk perceptions of eight neighboring communities and
3. recommendations to guide the social management of the project based on the identified risks.
