Technical assistance for RAP implementation for the Seguelen mining project of the AngloGold Ashanti Group

Mission:
In order to ensure the development of its mining activities in compliance with national and international standards, a Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) had to be carried out considering the populations impacted by the expansion of SAG activities to new zones.
Results:
Insuco provided a detailed description and analysis of the social and economic context, as well as the legal framework, within which the project is evolving, and proposed adapted methodology and strategy to compensate and to resettle People Affected by the Project (PAP).
