Establishment and management of 3 recruitment centres for a bauxite mining project
Client : Guinea Alumina Corporation (GAC)
Mission:
The mission was carried out in 3 different phases. The objective was to set up and manage 3 recruitment centres in Boké, Kamsar and Sangarédi, in order to meet the recruitment needs for skilled and unskilled labour of GAC mining project.
Results:
The project results are the following:
- Preparation for the set-up of the recruitment centres: selection of the management staff, development of registration and recruitment procedures, database design, grievance management process
- Identification of job seekers, on the basis of statistical data and surveys
- Set-up of the 3 recruitment centres: operationalisation of databases, implementation of communication plans, daily management of the 3 centres, monitoring and evaluation
