Basic Social Assessment in the petroleum permits operated by ASSALA in Gabon
Client : ASSALA GABON
Mission:
The mission consisted of carrying out socio-economic surveys, tracing the settlement history of the ATORA permit and producing a baseline analysis of the socio-economic situation of the permit and its areas of influence as well as recommendations for good social management.
Results:
The following deliverables were provided to the client:
- Inventory databases of assets and people affected by the project and a socio-economic database
- Mapping of infrastructure and cultural heritage sites
- A socio-economic baseline report on ATORA and its areas of influence
- A Social Management Plan
