Elaboration of the directory of hydro-agricultural developments carried out on the national territory
Client : Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, Sanitation and Food Security
Mission:
The objective of the mission was to provide the budget programme “Hydro-Agricultural and Irrigation Development” with a reliable database regarding hydro-agricultural developments located in the following regions: Boucle du Mouhoun, Centre-West and North. This database includes the nature and locality of the concerned areas, their physical condition and exploitation rate. It also includes a description of the situation of producer organisations and a proposal for the type of producer organisations to be set up.
Results:
The following deliverables were provided to the client:
- A database of the hydro-agricultural developments in the Northern, Boucle du Mouhoun and Centre-West regions
- A study report
