Establishment of the Land Degradation Neutrality Baseline in the WEOOG-PAANI project area

Mission:
Insuco was asked to define the baseline for land degradation neutrality in the project area, based on three UNCCD indicators: land productivity, land cover and land use, and soil carbon stock.
Results:
Insuco provides the following services and deliverables:
- The identification of use patterns and exploitation practices of local communities and among these the direct drivers of land degradation, through data collection based on questionnaires and interviews
- Mapping of land degradation trends and drivers in the study area to identify sensitive areas of land degradation
- The proposal of a strategy for sustainable management and exploitation of agricultural and forest areas in order to achieve the NDT
- An inception report
- A final report
