The team
Insuco comprises more than 160 permanent employees spread across our 15 offices worldwide, supported by a robust network of nearly 350 contractors with specific expertise.
To meet the needs of our customers, we put together for each project separate teams that combine knowledge of the geographical area, ease in the field and mastery of the topic. Our teams are made up of national and international experts renowned in their field and able to provide adapted answers to the specific issues of each project.

Agro-economist and holder of a Doctorate in Development Geography, Pascal has over 15 years’ experience in Africa, Asia and South America, gathered working in community development and development research programmes with the French National Scientific Research Centre (CNRS), the World Bank, the French Development Agency (AFD), international NGOs and mining companies. Pascal combines both field expertise and an up-to-date knowledge of leading issues in the development sector. His work is regularly published in scientific journals and reviews, in particular on issues related to land rights, natural resource management, decision-making processes and participatory approaches.

Caroline is a graduate of IPAG Paris and started her career in France in the print media, as Finance Manager of Télérama and Courrier International (Le Monde Group). Her career continued in finance within large international groups, first in the Netherlands at Stryker (Fortune 500) as Director of Controlling for Europe and then in Argentina at Cardif, the insurance subsidiary of BNP Paribas. Since moving to Cambodia, Caroline has been working with the NGO PSE to implement management tools. She is also a graduate in digital transformation of insurance and teaches Management Control at the Royal University of Phnom Penh.

Maeva holds a Master's degree in International Law from the University of Poitiers and a Master's degree in Economic and Legal Studies from the University of Paris Sorbonne. She spent a large part of her career in the pharmaceutical sector (SANOFI, IPSEN), covering legal issues in Latin America, Africa, Europe and Asia. These experiences brought her to countries such as Colombia and Algeria for commercial negociations and opening of an affiliate. She has previously worked for an Italian aluminum company, opening offices on their behalf in Africa (notably Togo). Maeva gained experience working in a law firm (Herbert Smith) on the RTIO Simfer project in Guinea and in the legal department of UNESCO.

Specialising in West Africa (Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Mali, Niger and Senegal) where he has lived for more than 10 years, Peter’s research and expertise lies in the field of land governance (public policy, rural land tenure, pastoralism, conservation, mining) and the political system of local authorities, decentralisation and the State (decision-making, application of legislation, use of public services). His work on these topics is published regularly in international academic reviews. In the mining sector he focuses on baseline studies and compensation and resettlement processes.

Margot is a professional engineer specialised in international agro-development and land use planning. She began her professional career with several NGOs and programs in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean. She then joined the Insuco office in Guinea, where she managed the office for almost 5 years and worked in many sectors such as infrastructure, energy, mining, tourism…

Agro-economist and geographer, Guillén has worked for many international organisations (UNESCO, Bioversity International, the World Bank etc.) setting up development projects and managing inter-governmental platforms, as well as looking at the interface between scientific research and political decision-making. For the past 10 years, he has specialised in corporate territorial responsibility in South America and Africa. He is also involved in defining and implementing international initiatives and South-South cooperation projects in the field of bio-cultural heritage development.

Diana is economist, a graduate from the University of Manchester (MBA) with a specialization in behavioral economics and business strategy. She has more than ten years of professional experience in the design and management of sustainable development projects in sectors such as infrastructure and construction, fishing, transport, mining and telecommunications, for public and private organizations. As a consultant, Diana has led and coordinated the implementation of strategies on sustainability, strengthening value chains, evaluating impacts as well as strengthening relationships and participation of interest groups.

Hélène Chéron-Kientéga has a Master of Research in Socio-anthropology of Risk and a Professional Master in Local Development from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. During her studies, she integrated research projects for the Citoyennetés au Burkina laboratory (IRD) and conducted in-depth studies on programs related to the problem of decentralization and citizenship. She thus has a very good knowledge of the terrain and the functioning of West African territorial authorities. She also worked as a programme officer at UNDP and was country director for the French NGO Entrepreneurs du Monde for 6 years. Hélène has been the country director of the Insuco office in Burkina Faso for over 3 years and has supervised numerous projects in the countries of the sub-region (Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, Benin, Niger, Chad, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana). She has intervened in the extractive, infrastructure and energy sectors for environmental and social studies (ESIA), resettlement action plans (RAP) and any other type of associated plans (ESMF, ESMP, PEPP, etc.). She therefore has a perfect grasp of the challenges of resettlement and the operationalization of international standards (BM, SFI). It is on the strength of these experiences that Hélène took the position of Executive Director Africa.

After graduating from engineering school in Paris in 1996, Emmanuel spent 25 years working in the private sector, between major international groups (Casino, LVMH, etc.) and start-ups and SMEs. He has spent almost 10 years in Europe and over 15 years in Africa. As CIO since 2000, he has worked on back-end architecture, planning, security, performance and R&D issues; but he has also become a specialist in front-end user adoption, digital marketing and user experience. Above all, he is an experienced manager and communicator, capable of structuring and growing technical teams in fields as varied as education, public services, research, distribution, finance, industry, innovation, the press, etc.

Holder of a Master's degree in Accounting, Control, and Audit, Madiou has over 10 years of experience in financial roles within international groups, including in Europe and Africa, such as Crédit Agricole, Findus, and Neemba Group. He specialises in the implementation and optimisation of group accounting processes, as well as in the production of consolidated accounts. With expertise in international accounting standards such as IFRS, he has assisted various international groups in ensuring the reliability of their financial information and compliance with these standards.

Vianney Bezard-Falgas is a logistician with a Master's degree in Humanitarian Actions / Crisis Management and Mitigation from Aix-Marseille University in France, specialising in logistics and supply chain management. With over 10 years of professional experience in the emergency humanitarian sector, he has worked in a wide variety of contexts, including Ukraine, Afghanistan, Yemen, Colombia, Armenia, Venezuela, Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria, Sudan, Chad, Haiti, DR Congo, Mozambique, and more. Passionate about his profession as a logistician, he has led numerous projects aimed at improving practices in the field and on a global scale to increase efficiency and enhance logistical analysis capabilities. This includes reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in supply chains and integrating information systems into logistics areas such as vehicle tracking and performance, procurement optimisation, and stock and equipment tracking. He enjoys working in multicultural environments and finding the best solutions to foster a culture of change and initiative while seamlessly integrating into his surroundings. He joins INSUCO today as Director of Logistics, Procurement, and HSE, to contribute to the group's evolution and support its strong growth.

Holder of Masters II in International Affairs, International Law and Political Sciences (ILERI, Grenoble II and Paris X), Marco has a professional background that allowed him to evolve in the private sector, the public sector, NGOs and the social and solidarity economy sector. Marco worked in Latin America for 10 years - including a stint at the Pernambuco State Economic Development Agency (ADEPE) - and more recently in Africa with experiences in various NGOs in the Central African Republic and Burkina Faso in particular. Specialist in risk management, territorial development and economic recovery, his versatility and his experience in sensitive areas allow him to adapt to the diverse contexts and demands of customers. With missions in more than 20 countries, working in a multicultural context is obvious to him. Committed to young people as a mentor in Africa and France, Marco has been Country Director for Burkina Faso since February 2023.

Candice holds a Master's degree in urban planning, development, transport and mobility from the Ecole d'Urbanisme de Paris, in partnership with the Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées. She is proficient in qualitative, quantitative and cartographic tools. Before joining Insuco, Candice worked in local authorities and consultancies: in France on land-use planning and operational mobility studies, then in Tunisia in a consultancy specializing in sustainable mobility, tactical urban planning and territorial tourism development. These diverse professional experiences enable her to work on the technical, organizational and strategic aspects of a project: development studies, project management support, master plans, urban planning and project management. In every project she undertakes, Candice is committed to taking into account the views of local residents and stakeholders. This has led her to lead citizen participation and multi-stakeholder processes in a variety of contexts.

Sandrine Biau holds a doctorate in bio-diagnostics from the Faculty of Medicine in Montpellier, specializing in environment and health. After a post-doctoral internship in genetics and development at the Carnegie Institution in Baltimore (USA), she turned to the development sector in developing countries. For 13 years in Burkina Faso, she put her expertise at the service of the population, mainly in the field of public health. During her career, Sandrine Biau has demonstrated her skills in managing and coordinating research projects in the health and environment sectors, covering the technical, organizational and strategic aspects of projects. She also has strong leadership skills and experience in managing multidisciplinary teams. Sandrine Biau's varied skills include administrative and financial management, support for policy development and expertise in research utilization and transfer strategies. She is also very familiar with the socio-economic context of West African countries. Her ability to adapt and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including government authorities, civil society, NGOs, beneficiaries, the private sector and scientific institutes, are assets she intends to reinforce in her role as Director of Insuco's Gabon office.

With a background in water engineering and oceanography, Adrian has worked for several research institutes and NGOs, mostly in Latin America and Madagascar. During these past 10 years, he has developed a strong expertise at the crossroad between marine resources management, science, conservation and advocacy for communities’ social rights. Promoting holistic approaches of sustainable development, he thus contributed to strengthen innovative models of resources management by empowering local communities. Adrian accumulated many years of experience managing projects and large teams with multi-disciplinary backgrounds, and also brings his valuable field experience, working closely with local communities. At Insuco Madagascar, he is accountable for making sure that the costs-benefits equation of social investments in development projects make sense for all stakeholders, for long term solutions.

Fatoumata holds a Master's degree in International Economics from the University of Paris1 -Panthéon Sorbonne and an MBA in Operational Management and Sustainable Performance from the Institut Supérieur de Commerce de Paris. She has spent part of her career in consultancy and project management with major international groups and non-governmental organisations in France and Africa. Based in Guinea since 2014, she has developed a wide range of skills, particularly in entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships and business development. In particular, she ran the first incubator in Guinea dedicated to ICT, the environment, agriculture and renewable energy, making a significant contribution to the growth of start-ups and SMEs. She has also taken part in consultancy work on major issues relating to development, growth and innovation in Africa. As Country Director, she intends to contribute to Insuco's success in Guinea by applying her strategic vision, leadership and operational skills.

Elom holds two master's degrees (research and professional) in Development Economics and Project Analysis from the Centre for Studies and Research in International Development (CERDI) at the University of Clermont-Ferrand I. He also holds a DEA in Macroeconomics from the University of Ouagadougou as part of the Inter-University Postgraduate Programme (PTCI - 12th cohort). With 7 years of experience in managing international development programmes, including 4 years in the field in Port-au-Prince (Haiti), Elom has worked extensively on human rights, food security, and the training of elected officials and territorial executives in decentralisation/deconcentration. Additionally, he has 9 years of experience in performance and operations management at a Canadian company specialising in sustainable financing for the charitable sector. Elom has a solid knowledge of managerial leadership, a human rights-based approach, and a participatory approach, among other areas.

Arianna has more than 10 years of experience supporting the development of public and private portfolios across governance, civic participation, and environmental sustainability. Before joining INSUCO, Arianna worked at the Ford Foundation as grants officer of the Natural Resources and Climate Change Program in the Andean Region and as an international consultant in Just Energy transition. Arianna has also worked extensively in the public sector. At the Colombian Congress, she led policy dialogue about land management and national budget allocation, and, as the Head of International Cooperation for the National Registry Office, she managed several projects on good governance, identity, and gender inclusion. She also worked as deputy director of Fundación Colombia 2050, organization promotes transparency and youth participation. She worked in policymaking at the National Fund for Disaster Risk Management, where she oversaw the socioeconomic recovery from Colombia's 50 years of armed conflict and the devastating 2010 flood. She also worked for Fondo Adaptacion, helping to support the resettlement of inhabitants following a climate change disaster in Gramalote. In addition, at iMMAP, she conducted research on collective victimization, and she had also participated in the world of entrepreneurship. Arianna holds a master's degree in social policy and development from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. While there, she was awarded the Chevening scholarship and the Loch Exhibition Prize for her climate change and citizenship dissertation. She also has a B.A. in government and international relations from Universidad Externado de Colombia and was awarded a scholarship to complete her undergraduate studies at the Institut d'Études Politiques of Paris. Most recently, she was granted the Geneva Challenge prize and is a fellow with the Institute for Canadian Citizenship.

Valeria Arcos Hervas is a Sociologist and holds a Master's Degree in International Cooperation and Negotiation. She has about 20 years of professional in which she has worked in projects located throughout Ecuador and other countries in the region; both in the public and private sectors and as a consultant for international organizations. Her career has focused on promoting a focus on sustainability and social responsibility within the framework of community relations and local development, basing her actions on good practices and social and environmental standards. Its strength is to add value to the processes through a solid approach to interculturality and the territory to respond to the challenges that the context demands, and provide coherent answers to the needs of the different stakeholders, generating synergies between the company, the state and the society. For the past two years she has been a partner ambassador of the Ibero-American Movement for Social Responsibility and a member of Mujeres por Ecuador. She currently serves as Country Director of Insuco Ecuador.

Jorge is a social anthropologist and holds an Executive Master in Development Policy and Practice from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva (IHEID) and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Pacifico Business School (PBS), as well as complementary studies in interculturality, gender, leadership, strategy and innovation. He has 15 years of experience in private companies, research centres and development organisations, and has led multidisciplinary and intercultural teams in all geographical regions of Peru, in urban and rural areas. Throughout his career, he has focused on building responsible, sustainable and ethical institutions, with appropriate strategic planning and a strong organisational culture. In addition, Jorge has specific experience in corporate sustainability management and leadership, human resource management and cultural transformation of organisations, ethics and compliance, individual and collective intercultural negotiation, resettlement and land acquisition, socio-environmental impact management of large investment projects, social risk analysis and management, and finally the development and planning of sustainable infrastructure projects.

Jean-Laurent Lhérisson is a trained geographer and urban planner specialized in territorial development. Since 2013, he has participated in the implementation of several development schemes in precarious neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince as an urban planner, then participated in the development of territorial diagnosis on several Haitian cities through several projects conducted as a consultant. His professional experiences have led him to better understand the socio-economic dynamics of the Haitian space at the neighborhood, city, or department levels. In November 2018, he joined the newly founded Insuco Haiti team as a project officer, then as a project manager. With Insuco, he has been particularly interested in coordinating projects to develop and implement Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs) in the context of national and departmental road rehabilitation projects. He also supported the development of the office through the diversification of its services, including the opening of mandates related to land use planning, but also in the search for new opportunities in the Caribbean sub-region. It is therefore with his good knowledge of the local context and the history of Insuco's office in Haiti that he now serves as Country Director.

Giselle is a political scientist with a Master's degree in Environmental Management and Policy. She is currently Country Director Dominican Republic for INSUCO. She has worked as Coordinator of the Vice-Ministry of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources in the Dominican Republic, where she coordinated relations with embassies on environmental issues, bilateral and multilateral projects with cooperation agencies and negotiated the issues of adaptation to climate change and gender of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. She also worked for the digital media "El Mitin" as editor and journalist, where she acquired knowledge on strategic communication and research and analysis of the Latin American political context. She has collaborated with Dominican NGOs on youth, gender, democracy and education issues. These experiences facilitate her development in multidisciplinary and multisectoral contexts.

Martin holds a Master’s degree in Arab World Studies with Arabic language and a PhD in Geography, Government and International Affairs (2020) from Durham University, UK, and has published in peer-reviewed journals and edited books. His PhD thesis explores urban and political life in the context of protracted displacement and diaspora communities, with ethnographic field research taking place in Zarqa, Jordan (2017-2019). Martin is a social scientist focusing on urban and political geography in humanitarian and development contexts. Before joining Insuco, Martin was the Research Manager for the Jordan mission of IMPACT Initiatives, an international research organization specializing in needs assessments and impact evaluations for humanitarian actors. He managed and coordinated research projects relating to cash assistance, food security, livelihoods, and circular economy, working in close coordination with multiple UN agencies and international donors responding to the Syrian refugee crisis in Jordan. Martin has also gained experience working in the energy and clean cooking sectors, initially as a Senior Researcher at Gamos Ltd (UK) and more recently as an independent consultant, with a dedicated focus on Cambodia, Myanmar, Rwanda, and Zambia. In these professional and academic capacities, Martin has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, project development and coordination, and the management of assessment teams, field teams, and mission finances.

Eihab is a professional engineer specialized in civil and environmental engineering. He possesses extensive experience in planning and business development for multi-disciplinary engineering projects across middle east. Eihab has also conducted first research on carbon capture technology in Jordan and worked on various cultural projects between Europe and Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining Insuco, Eihab was a lead in business development for the SYSTRA Group in KSA, a global leader in engineering and consulting specializing in public transport and mobility solutions, including environmental and urban planning studies. In this role, he managed and coordinated major projects in Saudi Arabia, such as the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in 2019 and the Al Faisaliyah Tower redevelopment project in 2017. Eihab's experience in business development includes working on securing contracts for several iconic projects and prestigious clients in Saudi Arabia, including NEOM, ROSHN, Makkah Metro, Al Ula Tram, and Al Madinah BRT. Throughout his career, Eihab has demonstrated extensive expertise in project management, business development, and project planning and delivery.

Débora holds a master’s degree in quality, safety and environmental management (QSEM). Working with the Burkina Faso National Office of Environmental Assessments allowed her to strengthen her knowledge and understanding of control and validation processes in the context of environmental impact studies, in particular through her participation in various control missions, validation sessions, etc. Débora is currently in charge of supporting the Insuco General Manager for Africa on various technical subjects such as insuring compliance with environmental and social standards of international donors (World Bank, International Finance Corporation, African Development Bank, etc.) and producing frameworks corresponding to these norms in order to guide the elaboration of our reports.

An urban planner by training, Joyce holds a master’s degree in urban planning and international Expertise from the Ecole d'Urbanisme de Paris, with a specialization in cities of the South. Since 2017, Joyce has been familiar with the context of cooperation in Africa, with several positions in technical assistance, institutional support and coordination of projects and actors with local governments and municipalities (Benguerir, Niamey, Kumasi, Matola, Kigali, Lagos, Bamako...) as well as ministries (Ministry of Territorial Planning of the Republic of Congo, the Commission of Land Affairs in Ghana). These projects ranged from the digitization and securing of land transactions in Accra, to the operational management of a Resettlement Action Plan in Brazzaville (financed by AFD), as well as the monitoring and coordination of a network of African cities (ASToN network, financed by AFD) and capacity-building for its members as project manager, as well as support for the development of participatory urban climate adaptation protocols for UN-Habitat's "RISE-UP Resilient Settlements for the Urban Poor" initiative, where she was a consultant for 2 years.

Paloma is an international agro-development engineer with a specialization in project development and financing. Before joining Insuco, she worked in NGOs and research department in the Caribbean and Central Africa. She has worked on the management and coordination of projects in the fields of Agriculture & REDD+ and Hygiene, Sanitation and Water, but also in the conduct of socio-economic studies. Paloma joined Insuco Burkina Faso as Project Manager in April 2021, where she coordinated various studies (PEPP, EIES, PAR, PRMS, etc.) in the countries of the sub-region (Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Niger, Togo and Ghana). She has been Technical Director for Insuco Togo since September 2022.

Her research expertise is built around issues of identity construction and power relations between migrant and host populations (including their social, political and economic aspects) in East Africa, where she has been living and working for 7 years. Before arriving in Djibouti, Mathilde worked as a Qualitative Research and Evaluation Manager in Uganda. She supervised the qualitative aspects of impact assessments of projects financed by the European Union's Emergency Trust Fund for Africa across the African continent, focusing on employment and employability of the most vulnerable people. She is also a Research Associate at the Institute for Social Science Research in Africa.

Pauline is a geographer. Before joining the Insuco team as a project coordinator in the LAC region, Pauline worked in international cooperation for CIRAD on an analysis of coffee producers' resilience to climate change in Colombia, and for AFD in Colombia, where she managed projects on biodiversity conservation and the promotion of sustainable agricultural models within the rural reform framework. He also had the opportunity to coordinate projects promoting sustainable blue economy in Indonesia and Tunisia, focusing on issues such as combating marine plastic pollution, blue carbon, and sustainable fishing.

Prior to joining Insuco Cambodia, Helene worked as a Lean manager for Vinci Construction Grands Projets in Cambodia, she was in charge of optimizing and improving the organization, processes, performance indicators and coordination on Bakheng project, the largest drinking water plant construction project in Cambodia, co-financed by AFD and EIB. As a senior consultant, Helene has also an extensive experience on project management in diverse fields such as manufacturing, energy, transportation, logistics and retail sectors. Lauriane was trained in development economics at the Clermont-Auvergne University School of Economics, affiliated with the Centre d'Etudes et de Recherches sur le Développement International (CERDI). It has long wanted to contribute to global sustainable development. This is why it has naturally specialized in the analysis and management of development projects, with a particular focus on the African continent. She is interested in both local and international development and has participated in the national student entrepreneur program to develop her own high-impact social project to develop a network of vigilant traders in her hometown to combat harassment and street insecurity. In addition, she completed her internship in the extreme south of Madagascar to work in a research project-participatory action to analyse and rethink the approach to gender issues within the Support for Financing of Agriculture and Inclusive Sectors in the South and Southeast of Madagascar (AFAFI-Sud). During this internship, she particularly appreciated the field work and the proximity with the various partners who supported her in the idea of working as close as possible to the intervention areas. With this professional and human experience, she decided to expatriate on the African continent in order to continue in this dynamic and put her knowledge into practice as a project manager in Gabon.

Guillaume SAXOD, who holds a double Master's degree in Development Economics from Grenoble Alpes University and in Management from Grenoble École de Management, enriched his career by obtaining a diploma from the United Nations training programme in Geneva. After gaining a wide range of student experience, he began his career as a Project Manager in Paris, where he coordinated the construction of the Hôtel du Père Pedro in Madagascar. This experience highlighted his proven skills in coordination, project monitoring and financial management. Later, in Spain, as Project Manager at the Fondación Altius, Guillaume made a significant contribution to the professional integration of people in precarious situations. His responsibilities encompassed a variety of areas such as counselling, support and the organisation of food aid, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to the social sector. On the strength of these experiences in the social field and driven by a strong desire to pursue his commitment to economic, environmental and social development on an international scale, Guillaume decided to move abroad. In November 2023, he chose to join the Insuco office in Gabon as a project manager.

With a double master's degree in economic analysis and analysis of development projects at the UCA School of Economics, Armand is interested in issues related to economic development in the South. Chayna has a degree in Geography and Regional Planning from the University of Lyon 3, and a Masters in Economic and Social Development Studies, specialising in Emergency Intervention and Development Action, from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne (IEDES). She graduated with two country dissertations: "Urban growth in the face of natural hazards in the Kathmandu Valley: the question of resilience" and "Sahelian cross-border towns: an opportunity for local development". She has developed skills in development project management through her training and previous experience. She worked in Benin as a project manager in an NGO promoting education, and then went on to become general coordinator of activities (supporting activities, helping to set them up, defining strategies and a monitoring and evaluation framework). She has developed her ability to manage a portfolio of varied projects and to interact with different stakeholders.

Benjamin Dumas has a Brevet de Technicien Supérieur in agriculture and is a graduate engineer from ISTOM. He has worked successively as a dairy farm manager in France, an agricultural micro-organism sales technician, a cocoa insurance expert in Malaysia, and now as a project manager in Guinea. His speciality is agriculture and livestock farming, and his curiosity leads him to take an interest in everything else. For Insuco, he works as a project manager. Based on tenders issued by the government of the Republic of Guinea or large private companies, for example, he designs projects that meet both the client's requirements and Insuco's own quality standards. Most projects require economic and social studies, and in this context it is necessary to mobilise teams of experts, build the best methodology (within the allocated budget), monitor the assignments, and guarantee the production of quality deliverables for the client. And whenever possible, you have to go out into the field to carry out the work yourself.

Joanna has a master's degree in geography and planning, specialising in development issues in southern countries, from the Université Paris Sorbonne. She graduated defending a dissertation entitled "Le Plan Maroc Vert, un modèle de développement agricole à suivre?", which she wrote based on fieldwork in Morocco funded by the CNRS. She went on to work in the field of research, in particular on agricultural issues relating to the reconciliation of energy production (solar power) and agricultural production in the Plaine du Roussillon (Pyrénées-Orientales) with CIRAD. As a result, she has developed development skills, particularly in agricultural issues, through her training and previous experience. Interested in rural development issues in West Africa, she worked for a local NGO in Guinea as part of the SARITEM project funded by the AFD on mangrove rice cultivation. This experience enabled her to strengthen her skills in project management, monitoring and evaluation and to interact with a variety of stakeholders.

Emeline is a mining engineer, graduated from Mines d’Alès in France and the Universidade Federale do Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. She then obtained a PhD in Geosciences at the University of Lorraine, focusing on anthropogenic seismicity in deep mines, in partnership with Ineris (French Institute for Risk Evaluation) and Boliden (a Swedish mining company). Interested in social and environmental issues, she also volunteered with ARM (Association for Responsible Mining) on technical topics related to artisanal gold mines. She joined Insuco to become more involved in social issues, create connections between different stakeholders, and place the territory at the center of mining projects.

Borice holds a master's degree in mineral resources and environment from the University of Antananarivo. He has 7 years of experience in the extractive sector and in various environmental and social projects. Before joining Insuco, Borice worked as a mining supervisor for one year and then as an environmental manager for two years at the mining company GRAPH-MADA SARL in Madagascar. He acquired skills in open pit mining, the design and implementation of Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP) and Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) and CSR. Borice has also worked for local consultancies for four years offering his expertise as an environmental consultant, surveyor and socio-organiser. This allowed him to accumulate skills related to the collection of quantitative and qualitative socio-economic data via the conduct of individual surveys, focus groups; public consultation with different stakeholders (population, public authorities); support to the local community (specific training, coaching), monitoring and evaluation of activities and cartographic analysis using GIS.

He began his career in Madagascar at the French Embassy in the Diplomatic Chancellery. Interested in development issues, he then worked for Insuco in the Djibouti office for over a year and a half, where he focused on local development support and environmental issues in Somaliland. Keen to return to Madagascar, Clément then worked on the dynamics of volunteering and cross-disciplinary mobility at France Volontaires Madagascar. With a degree in environmental management: waste management and a Masters in commercial engineering and project management, Kaïna began her career at Disneyland Paris as a project manager with responsibility for managing the largest tonnage of hazardous waste. Kaïna then joined Veolia as a junior salesperson at the Claye-Souilly platform for the recovery of wood waste. In order to complement her knowledge of project management, Kaïna obtained a position as a design office engineer for Paprec in France in the field of waste management. Keen to play a part in Africa's development, she moved to Togo, where she set up an entomology company that turns organic waste into insect protein and organic fertiliser. Kaïna's wide-ranging experience means that she is now involved in a number of environmental and social impact assessment projects. She is currently project manager for Insuco Togo.

Alejandra is an economist, with a master's degree in social sciences for development, specialized in local economic development and socio-environmental conflicts´ transformation, from a human rights approach. Before joining Insuco, as Peru project coordinator, Alejandra worked as Project Officer for the CISAL Fund of the Canadian Federation of Municipalities in Peru (Ancash and Cusco) and Colombia (Antioquia and La Guajira) from 2016 to 2020. Au cours de cette période, Alejandra était responsable pour la mise en œuvre du Projet, pour la sélection et le financement de 160 projets d'entrepreneurs et d'associations locales, assignées selon les critères ODD. Elle a géré des équipes dans les deux pays, élaboré des méthodologies et des outils de gestion, et systématisé l´information générée. After the CISAL Project was completed, in 2021, Alejandra was an Analyst of social conflicts and conflict scenarios in the South East of Peru (Cusco, Apurímac, Puno and Madre de Dios) for the Secretariat of Social Management and Dialogue of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, contributing to the defense of democratic spaces for dialogue and the transformation of conflicts with local actors. His experience has allowed him to acquire knowledge and expertise in project coordination from design, implementation and monitoring, in rural and conflict areas. She has also developed a high level of adaptation, independence, and social and environmental awareness.

Lucero is an economist and environmental manager specialising in public management, with advanced skills in processing socio-economic information using programming software such as Stata and Python. In her role as coordinator for public institutions in Peru, Lucero has been involved in monitoring and following up compliance with public policies relating to indigenous peoples and interculturality. It has fostered collaboration with more than 20 national and local public institutions in Peru. In addition, she specialises in the management of planning and budgeting tools, in constant coordination with senior management. Sebastian is Insuco Haiti's project manager for the Caribbean region. He holds a double degree in political science and law (Sciences Po Bordeaux and the Autonomous University of Madrid) and a master's degree in European affairs and international development (College of Europe). He has organised field surveys and extensive consultations as part of development projects funded by multilateral organisations such as the World Bank, the French Development Agency (AFD) and the European Union. Sebastian has worked on a number of projects involving Caribbean countries, particularly in the field of migration and human mobility, with a strong gender perspective. He recently worked in 2022 on a multi-year project for the World Bank and the Dominican National Institute for Migration as a consultant leading the stakeholder consultation for a multi-sectoral response to migratory flows. Currently coordinator of a transport project funded by the Caribbean Development Bank for the development of a sustainable public road transport plan in Saint Lucia, Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique (SRBPTP), Sebastian plays a central role in supervising, coordinating and liaising with national governments.

Jean Dudson is a Haitian consultant specializing in forestry engineering and holds a master's degree in applied economics from Universidad ISA and Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic, respectively. He is also pursuing a master's degree in Geographic Information Science and Systems at Paros London University in Austria. Jean Dudson has worked for various institutions on agriculture and food security projects throughout Haiti, including Caritas Switzerland, the Swiss Embassy in Haiti, the World Bank, World Vision International, and the Famine Early Warning System Network (FEWSNET). As a consultant, he has also conducted various studies commissioned by institutions such as CRS, the German Red Cross, Oxfam, and German Agro Action. With over fifteen years of professional experience, he has acquired skills in project management, programming, and evaluation. Since February 2024, Jean-Dudson has joined the Insuco Haiti team as a project manager. He will contribute to the development, monitoring, and implementation of various projects within the office.

Thomas holds a master's degree in international security and defense (Lyon, France), and a bachelor's degree in law and political science (Paris, France). Former political advisor and new technologies & military affairs specialist, he has worked on major international trade shows (cybersecurity, defense, and private security) and with local and national elected officials in France and abroad. After several experiences in Lebanon and in Cambodia (diplomacy sector) and in Madagascar (international solidarity sector), he joined the Insuco Asia team in Phnom Penh in 2022.

John is an agro-economist with a master's degree in agro-economics and rural development from the Institut des Régions Chaudes (IRC) in Montpellier, France. He has worked with various NGOs, providing technical support for family farm development. In 2016, he worked in Cameroon for the implementation of the project Amélioration de la Compétitivité des Exploitations Familiales Agropastorales (ACEFA) financed by the French Development Agency (C2D Program), with the mandate to conduct a socio-technical-economic study of agropastoral family farming and make recommendations. From 2018 to 2019, Jhon worked as a capacity-building expert in Haiti as part of an agricultural project funded by Global Affairs Canada and the Paul Gérin-Lajoie Foundation, facilitating training sessions on sustainable agricultural practices and gender, among others. Since March 2019, he has joined Insuco Haiti's teams as a Field Technical Officer, in the context of the development of the Resettlement Action Plans (RAP) for National Road 5 and Departamental Road 501. Jhon has therefore a good knowledge of the participatory approaches techniques necessary to consult/mobilize the People Affected by the Project (PAP) and of socio-economic surveys and property inventories.

He began his professional career as a trainer in management and setting up income-generating projects with JA Gabon, working on a project dedicated to developing skills and employability. Bowie then broadened his horizons in the field of local development by holding key positions at the Somdiaa Foundation of Sucaf Gabon and at Rougier Gabon, successively as development officer and assistant to the social unit. His career then took him to Insuco, where he joined the technical team as operations assistant.

Josema is an agricultural engineer of Haitian nationality, specialized in rural and community development, participatory approach and environmental management. Josema has solid experience, since 2004, on issues related to development in Haiti, particularly in terms of institutional strengthening and consolidation of social structures. This experience has given him the opportunity to work for international programs (Wash, SAME, etc.) and NGOs, such as Action Against Hunger, for which he was, among others, Liaison Officer for the 10 communes of the North-West Department of Haiti, from 2015 to 2017. Josema joined the Insuco Haiti team in the framework of the Technical Assistance projects to the MTPTC in 2018, as a national consultant assigned to field follow-ups for the implementation of the Resettlement Action Plans National Road #1 (North of Haiti). Community engagement and consultation, grievance management, and conflict mediation are part of his daily missions. He has excellent communication skills and knows how to adapt to vulnerable audiences, especially those affected by road projects. He has also worked on several external evaluations of development projects with Insuco in Haiti.

Reach has experience in the fields of geography, spatial planning, urban design, and data analysis, and recently completed an internship at City Net in South Korea. Reach also has more than 6 years of professional experience working for various international NGOs as well as for the Central Government in Cambodia. Sofía is the Geographic Information Systems specialist for Latin America and the Caribbean at Insuco and has a Master's degree in Remote Sensing and GIS. Before joining Insuco, Sofía worked for different companies as a GIS analyst and gained experience in collecting and analyzing geospatial and demographic data, developing cartographic products and services, and in fieldwork for data collection and project monitoring. As a versatile geoscientist, she is passionate about science and communities. Her interest has increasingly focused on integrating GIS tools with social and humanitarian action. Likewise, she works to better understand the social dynamics in Latin America and the Caribbean to contribute to the development of the region.

Julien is an engineer specialised in international agro-development and socioeconomics. Before joining Insuco Madagascar, he worked for several NGOs and private companies in Africa (Senegal, Rwanda, Madagascar, Benin) as well as in the Caribbean and Latin American region (Colombia). He joined Insuco in 2018 as monitoring and evaluation officer for the CASEF Project (Project for Agricultural Growth and Land Security), funded by the World Bank and implemented in the East Coast of Madagascar. Amongst others tasks, he was involved in the baseline design of the project. Since 2020, Julien has widened his scope of work to include other Insuco offices, assisting with surveys programming, data analysis and the elaboration of monitoring and evaluation systems.

Charlotte has joined the team as Group Communication Manager, in collaboration with all offices. After graduating with a Master's degree in Communication and Public Relations from the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium), during which she had the chance to study several years abroad in Austria, Cyprus and Canada, where she specialized in corporate communications, public relations and scientific popularization, Charlotte worked in a variety of sectors, including agri-food, software development and life insurance. She has continued her training (in digital marketing and insurance law) to be able to adapt her skills with a continuous improvement philosophy. Her professional experience has enabled her to develop and implement numerous strategies for internal and external communications, employer branding, corporate branding and digital marketing. With extensive knowledge of Latin America, thanks to her studies in political science in Argentina and communication in Ecuador, Andrea has focused in recent years on communication related to sustainable development projects, cultural relevance, and development education. Andrea has collaborated with renowned media groups such as El Comercio Ecuador and was responsible for communication for the British Embassy in Quito. She has also worked with the British-Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce and other organizations in Argentina and Ecuador, establishing a direct network with private, public, and governmental institutions in Latin America and Europe. Andrea has also taken several courses on human rights, gender communication, environment, and development, topics on which she bases her drive to achieve excellence and efficiency in communication strategies and products. Passionate about design, he is self-taught and has complemented his skills through online learning. He has diverse experience in branding projects, notably through a GIZ program aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of local businesses, and in creating infographics for various Togolese companies for over 3 years. His mastery of graphic design and its tools has enabled him to lead a creative team within a marketing department where he held a managerial position. His background in rural socio-economics provides him with a good understanding of social issues.

He has worked for a number of international organizations (UNESCO, Bank of Central African States, World Bank, etc.) on administrative and financial management, the setting up of a central balance sheet office in the CEMAC sub-region, financial structuring and investment strategies for development projects. For over seven (7) years, he has specialized in financial analysis and structuring, management control and project evaluation in the private sector (COFINA Banking Group, SEEG, Afrijet Business Service...) as well as in the public sector (Ministry of the Budget, Ministry of Maritime Economy and the Ministry of Energy and Hydraulic Resources of Gabon).

Bronké holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the Higher Institute of Education Sciences of Guinea (ISSEG) and a Master's Degree in Resource Management from the Sherbrooke Institute of Guinea. Prior to joining Insuco Guinea as the Administrative and Support Coordinator in the Human Resources Department, she began her professional career in Guinea by conducting various quantitative and qualitative surveys, in the framework of numerous studies implemented by Insuco (Resettlement Action Plans, Environmental and Social Impact Studies), during 6 years. She also worked as a science teacher in public-private institutions in Conakry. These experiences as an investigator and teacher have allowed her to develop many skills: autonomy, responsibility and versatility.

Hérold Jean-Louis is the Logistician-Driver of Insuco Haiti since January 2022. He has completed a training in diesel mechanics and a training in office technology. In addition, he trained as a light and heavy truck driver at the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent in Haiti. He also worked for the same organization as a Dispatcher and Crane Operator. Following this experience, Hérold worked as a driver for the American Red Cross and the Canadian Red Cross in different departments of the country. Before joining Insuco, he worked at ICAP as a Driver and Logistics Support. These experiences allowed him to acquire solid skills in the field of logistics & transportation.

An engineer in international agro-development, Chloé specialises in tropical agriculture and rural development. She has held various positions within organisations such as NGOs and consultancy firms, focusing on issues related to natural resource management, sustainable agriculture, and fair trade. Drawing on her field experience in the Indian Ocean region and Africa (Comoros, Togo, Benin, Guinea, Gabon), she has been collaborating with Insuco as an expert since 2023. She has conducted several socio-economic studies, environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA), and other associated plans (ESMP, RAP, LRP, etc.). Through her recent experiences, Chloé has developed a deep understanding of international standards, including those of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank, and the European Investment Bank (EIB).

Mariana is a historian with a master's degree in environmental management and a specialisation in applied economics. She has developed a career in socio-environmental consultancy and interdisciplinary project management, working on evaluations for development programmes, politico-economic analyses for deforestation mitigation projects and carbon credit certification. In her roles as socio-environmental consultant and project manager, she has designed and implemented evaluation strategies, integrating qualitative and quantitative techniques. She has led projects such as the political economy analysis for USAID and the REDD+ assessment for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Committed to sustainable development, gender equity and social inclusion. She was Technical Director of Insuco Colombia for 4 years, leading the development of corporate social development and investment projects and initiatives, as well as resettlement, livelihood restoration, territorial dialogue, project evaluation, strengthening of community organizations and gender initiatives. As Director of the Observatory, her main objective is to consolidate the Observatory as a regional initiative in Latin America and the Caribbean, and to make visible the transformations in territories undergoing the energy transition.

Gonzalo has a degree in computer development engineering and completed his studies in anthropology at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has over 20 years' experience in key positions in various mining companies in Peru. It has developed social management zones in exploration projects that are now major operations in Peru: the Alto Chicama project, the Constancia project and the Shahuindo project. These projects are now operated by medium-sized or large companies that apply high standards of social management. He has also worked at major Peruvian operations such as Minsur's Pucamarca, Gold Fields' Cerro Corona and Glencore's Antapaccay, among others. In addition, as a consultant, over the years he has prepared comprehensive proposals for social management services with: Peruvian Navy, Petroperu, Backus, Vicuñita Minerals, MMG MLB, Transportadora de Gas Del Peru, Pluspetrol. It is involved in the entire process of social management projects in the oil and gas and power generation sectors. Gonzalo has worked in different regions of Peru: Arequipa, Ancash, Moquegua, Tacna, Puno, La Libertad, Loreto, Cusco, Ica, Lima, Lambayeque, Cajamarca, Ayacucho, Apurímac, Junín, Huánuco and Amazonas.

Daniel holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Manizales (Colombia) and a Master's degree in Social Sciences from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO, Mexico). He is trained in the Action-Research Approach for Decision-Making (IAD) from the Centre for Rural Development (SLE) at Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany). He has over 15 years of experience in project management, monitoring, evaluation, and public debate on territorial quality of life. He recently served as the director of the "Manizales Cómo Vamos" program within the Red de Ciudades Cómo Vamos in Colombia, contributing to evidence-based discussions and enhancing the statistical capacities of territories. He was a teacher-researcher at the Department of Territory and Peace at the Autonomous University of Manizales, a leader in the IAD approach in Latin America, and a psychologist involved in psychosocial restoration processes for victims of the armed conflict, particularly displaced populations and children separated by war. Daniel has worked in different sub-regions of the departments of Caldas and Risaralda in Colombia, and has gained academic experience in the department of Caldas in Colombia, Mexico, and Berlin, Germany.

He has worked as a programme and project manager, and as an external expert, for both national and international NGOs, governments, consulting firms, and United Nations organisations, focusing on the sustainable management of natural resources, governance and participatory management methods of protected areas, as well as on the impact assessment of extractive industries and the related social and environmental management plans. He has extensive experience in several African countries, such as Sao Tome and Principe, Gabon, Burundi, Guinea Bissau, Djibouti, Guinea, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Mozambique. His experience in the fields of natural resource and fishery management across the African continent made him an expert for studies related to the management of coastal areas, participatory management of natural resources and environmental protection in Africa. In particular, she is an expert for the collection and organisation of information, design of indicators and knowledge management systems. Her main research topics focus on poverty measurement, which includes monetary and multidimensional approaches, rural development and public policies. She has worked in various public and private entities, such as the Research Unity of the Republic Bank, the National Administrative Department for Statistics (DANE), and the National Land Agency in Colombia, as well as for some international cooperation organisations, such as the UNDP, the World Bank and UNICEF. He obtained a Certificate in Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (Portland State University). Guillaume has 15 years’ experience in the nuclear and mining industries. He held different positions as project manager and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) manager. As CSR Manager, Guillaume managed a team based in different countries (Canada, Niger, Gabon, Namibia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Canada and France). He implemented different tools to improve the stakeholder engagement, managed Social Impact Assessments, and built partnerships with NGO’s and national/local authorities to enhance community development. As a CSR consultant, Guillaume has worked mainly for the private sector. He is specialized in CSR policies, Resettlement Actions Plans/Livelihood restoration Plans, capacity building and community development. He has worked in 10 different countries (Europe, Africa, and Asia). His last assignments were in Guinea where he worked as a RAP and LRP manager. His current assignments are based in Guinea (RAP and community development) and Gabon (RAP).

Agronomist, Pascal is a graduate from the National Engineering University for Agricultural Works of Bordeaux, France. He has more than 25 years of experience regarding rural development in Africa, and has worked in various countries in West Africa, Central Africa, and more recently in Madagascar as Project Director for different projects financed by the European Union, the French Development Agency and the World Bank. His experience allowed him to manage various aspects related to development issues and to support a large range of actors: he has worked during several years in Fouta Djalon area in Guinea, focusing on the topics of agroforestry and fruit farming, as well as in Mali, Guinea, and the Democratic Republic of Congo regarding the issues associated with institutional strengthening and producers’ structuring. He has also been in charge of setting-up and operationalising, in the South part of Madagascar, a regional fund for agricultural development aiming at financing services for the farmers.

She has worked as a consultant for the International Labour Organization (ILO) and for the Organization of American States, on the subject of institutional architecture for the respect of the rights of ethnic communities and their relations with the private sector, as well as on social and environmental conflicts in the extractive and energy sectors. Jean-Isamu holds a PhD in Law from Nagoya University, Japan, with a thesis on environmental and social aspects (E&S) in public-private partnerships (PPPs) in infrastructure. He has more than 5 years of experience in collecting and analysing performance data on E&S aspects in mining and infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia. His research has also focused on the protection of indigenous peoples' right to free, prior and informed consent in the context of the mining industry in the Philippines. From 2019 to 2021, Jean-Isamu worked as a legal expert for the European Investment Bank (EIB), for which he carried out a gap analysis of the social regulations of EU Member States and candidate countries with the EIB standards (resettlement, protection of vulnerable groups, protection of cultural heritage). He also carried out a study of the legislative and contractual frameworks for the inclusion of E&S aspects in PPPs in Europe. In 2021, Jean-Isamu joined Insuco as a team leader to carry out the social baseline study for the Simandou iron ore mine. He subsequently developed the livelihood restoration action plans for Compagnie des Bauxites de Guinée, the resettlement action plans for SETRAG in Gabon, and the impact assessment of an industrial project in Togo. He is fluent in French, English and Russian.

Over the past 20 years, he has participated in the development of information and evaluation systems for the CNRS (French National Institute for Scientific Research), various NGOs, mining companies, consulting firms and for the French Development Agency (AFD). Mainly in Africa, but also in the Maghreb, the Middle East and in Asia, he has developed deep experience regarding the management of intercultural and multi-partner projects, such as socio-economic baseline studies, environmental and social impact assessments, and social and land management plan implementation. He has published in international scientific journals and regularly communicates about his research in international conferences. In particular, he coordinated in 2012 the Atlas of Voluntary and Solidarity Commitments at international level.

Cenia Mary is an anthropologist with a master's degree in Environment and Development, with extensive experience in territorial development management due to her participation in public and private projects. She has been especially linked to physical and economic resettlement processes in compliance with local regulations and international standards, including due diligence and human rights, meeting the requirements of the project, the authorities that monitor and control compliance and especially generating strategies for the impacted communities to be in better conditions than those found; generating induced developments with resettlement planning. She has accompanied projects in Colombia, Peru and Chile, in the hydroelectric and mining sector from the formulation of the strategy for access to land, through the participatory processes of consultation and agreement of the resettlement with the communities, in addition to participating in the implementation and monitoring and evaluation actions. This has allowed her to feed back his technical knowledge and strengthened the methodological routes to close gaps and improve strategies in each process he undertakes.

She has 10 years’ experience in the research sector (UQAM, McGill and CRDI Canada, CIRAD France) and has been published in various scientific publications and reviews. She has also worked as a consultant with various development organisations, international NGOs and consulting firms as well as mining companies. In her 12 years’ experience in Africa and Latin America, Marie has acquired an in-depth understanding of field work, particularly through supervising baseline social studies and social impact assessments in the mining sector.

Luca is a natural science graduate and has a PhD in Anthropology (University of Florence). He has 16 years of research experience, which he gained working with universities in Italy, South Africa and Switzerland. An expert in archaeology, he has conducted surveys and excavations in Africa (South Africa, Guinea, Mali, Senegal, Tanzania), the Middle East (Southern Jordan desert) and Italy, studying prehistoric, proto-historic and historical sites and rock art (paintings and engravings). He has led several digs and international field studies in South Africa, where he also taught prehistory and human evolution for 2 years as Honorary Researcher at Wits University, collaborating on the study of finds from the most prominent sites. He is a member of the APA team (Laboratoire Archéologie et Peuplement de l'Afrique) at the University of Genève, where he is currently working as a research associate. The findings from his work are regularly published in international scientific journals.

During her 12 years of professional experience in Africa (West, Central, East) and in the Caribbean region (Haiti), Marine has developed a recognized expertise in the realization of socio-economic baseline studies, social due diligences, as well as Resettlement Action Plans (RAP) in the context of extractive and hydroelectric projects. Marine also provides assistance to private groups for the elaboration and implementation of their CSR strategies.

Graduated from ISTOM (Higher Engineering Education School of international agro-development), Mathieu Van Hoy is expert in rural development, natural resource management and resettlement. Over the past decade, he has provided expertise in various contexts including public and private stakeholders as well as non-governmental organisations. In particular, he has solid experience in natural resource management and participatory processes in a variety of contexts (West Africa, Central Africa and South-East Asia). From 2018 to 2020, he lived in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he provided support for the production of forest management plans, natural resource management plans and forest inventory surveys. He co-directed two Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) for WWF, the first for a national park management programme in Congo-Brazzaville, the second for a landscape-scale programme in the State of Sabah (Malaysian part of Borneo). He was also mission leader for a participatory diagnosis of the Mont Gangan area in Guinea for Enabel's Green Economy programme. Mathieu also has extensive experience in resettlement and impact analysis, having developed Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs), Livelihood Restoration Plans (LRPs), ESIAs, Stakeholder Engagement Plans (PEPPs) and Socio-economic Baseline Studies (SBSs) as part of structuring projects: for Rio Tinto and WCS for the Simandou project in Guinea, for the Assala oil permits in Gabon, for the European Union Delegation in Yaoundé in Cameroon, for AMEA Power in Togo, for Duval in Côte d'Ivoire, for WAF's MV3 gold project in Burkina Faso, etc. He has developed solid skills in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, asset inventories, database management (socio-economic surveys and GIS) and the development of participatory methodological tools. Since 2020, Mathieu has specialised in ESIAs, PAR/PRMS, EBS and project evaluations at Insuco.

Sociologist, holds a master's degree in social responsibility and sustainability from the Universidad Externado de Colombia and an aspiring master's degree in circular economy and environment. Maria Clara has experience in field work and stakeholder relations, particularly with communities benefiting from special protection under macro-projects in sectors such as oil and gas, infrastructure and renewable energies. She has skills in analyzing social dynamics in the design and implementation of business strategies and in monitoring sustainability issues, in accordance with relevant international standards and guidelines. In-depth knowledge of structuring and implementing social investment and impact projects, through the creation of strategic alliances with actors such as national government, local authorities, civil society organizations and communities. In 2021, Maria Clara joined Insuco to develop a human rights impact and risk study for the Cerro Blanco mining project in Guatemala. From 2022, it will participate in the implementation of an Observatory of Territorial Transformations that responds to the challenges of energy transition on the Colombian Caribbean coast, in what is called the "Coal Corridor", as well as 'to other projects linked to climate change and the energy transition.

Paola also has solid professional experience in project management, environmental and social impact assessment, involuntary resettlement and social monitoring. Her expertise in scenario simulation techniques for policy analysis and social interventions, combined with participatory methodologies to ensure multi-stakeholder involvement in decision making, can be highlighted.

A forestry specialist by background, Baptiste holds a master's degree in international agro-economics and a post-graduate degree in local development, land use planning and natural resource management in tropical environments. After having set up and managed agricultural development projects in West Africa, he specialized in project management assistance for large linear infrastructure projects (transport, water, energy) and environmental rehabilitation in a consulting firm, then as a company manager since 2014. At the same time, he led several field missions and team coordination in West and Central Africa for INSUCO. His multidisciplinary experiences, both in organizational and technical fields (environment and agroforestry, works, land use planning, consultation) and his taste for diversity, have naturally led him to put his skills at the service of complex projects where communication and operational exchange between all actors are the key to success.

Marika holds a double master's degree in development policy and international cooperation from the Institute of Political Studies of Bordeaux, France (SciencesPo Bordeaux) and the University of the West Indies in Jamaica. Prior to joining Insuco Guinea as Project Officer, she worked for 5 years in NGOs both at headquarters and in the field, across various geographies - Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia. Specialized in the field of education and in the gender approach, she has cooperated with various partners, such as NGOs, donors, ministries and local associations, for the implementation of development projects. Through her experiences, she has acquired skills in project management, financial monitoring, reporting and training of trainers. As a quality focal point at CARE France, she developed expertise in monitoring-evaluation and learning, with the development of harmonized tools and the conduct of a multi-country review on gender mainstreaming in resilience and human rights projects. While French is her mother tongue, she is fluent in both English and Spanish.
