Need assessment of CBOs and DPOs for Care Haïti
Care Haiti and the URD group led the Vil Nou Pi Bél project in Jérémie, a Haitian commune located in the Jérémie district of the Grand’Anse department between 2019 and 2022, in which a capacity building process was implemented, targeting Community Based Organizations (CBOs), Disabled People’s Organizations (DPOs) and networks of CBOs, as well as the Association of Mayors of Grand’Anse (AMAGA). Nearing the end of the project, the importance of conducting a diagnosis of this process and proposing recommendations to continue the capacity building process with these organizations was identified. Insuco Haiti was selected for carrying out this capacity assessment.
