Mission:
Insuco provided technical support to CSA Ocean and its national partners for the preparation and review of the social components of the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline project studies. This included methodological guidance, development of standardized data-collection tools and preparation of deliverables aligned with national regulations and international standards (World Bank, IFC and Islamic Development Bank). Insuco also conducted selected social studies directly in ten more West African countries.
Results:
- Development of standard templates and data collection tools for SEP, RPF and SIA.
- Revision and preparation of multiple ESIA, EIS and SEP studies across project countries.
- Delivery of 7 Resettlement Policy Frameworks (RPF) for countries hosting compressor stations.
- Completion of a Cultural Heritage Impact Assessment report.
- Delivery of a human rights impact assessment
- Delivery of a community health and safety impact assessment
