Mission:
The mission involved updating the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) for the 42 MW(AC) photovoltaic power plant project in Salimdè, on behalf of Sokodé Énergie SAS. The update built on a previous RAP prepared between 2020 and 2021 and aimed to reflect the project’s final design—including the transmission line, access road expansion, and bypass track—and ensure alignment with IFC Performance Standard 5 (PS5) and AfDB Operational Safeguard 5 (OS5). The fieldwork included socio-economic surveys, asset inventories, and PAP consultations leading to the development of a an updated RAP including a Livelihood Restoration Plan (LRP).
Results:
The following deliverables were submitted to the client:
- Updated RAP report, including revised budget for RAP and LRP
- RAP annexes, including consultation minutes
- A Livelihood Restoration Plan compliant with international standards
- Active participation in restitution workshops with AT2ER’s E&S advisory board
