Mission:
Insuco conducted an environmental and social screening of UNICEF country programmes across
the Asia Pacific region, in accordance with the Agency’s forthcoming Environmental and Social
Policy and Procedures. Through a combination of desk review and country-level consultations,
Insuco identified potential E&S risks of UNICEF activities across the education, WASH, health,
nutrition, social policy and child protection sectors, and developed recommendations and
mitigation measures to enhance UNICEF’s E&S management at the country level.
Results:
The following deliverables were given to the client:
- A Regional Baseline Report
- 14 Country Reports, including screening results, mitigation measures, and recommendations
- A Regional Summary Report.
