Peter Hochet led a presentation about securing land rights and participatory processes in Washington DC

Peter Hochet (Insuco General Manager for Burkina Faso) participated in the Annual “Land and Poverty Conference” organised by the World Bank, that took place in Washington DC from 20 to 24 March 2017 and addressed the following topic “Responsible Land Governance: Towards an Evidence-Based Approach”. In particular, he participated in a roundtable entitled “Can Securing Tenure Contribute to Mitigating Climate Change?” and gave a presentation about “Securing Land Rights at Scale Through Participatory Role-play: the Forest Investment Program in Burkina Faso”, together with the representatives of the World Bank, the Ministry of Environment, Green Economy and Climate Change of Burkina Faso and the Forest Investment Program (FIP) Burkina Faso.
