Pascal Rey and Alizèta Ouedraogo participated in the Conference TRAMIN2018

Pascal Rey (CEO of Insuco) and Alizèta Ouedraogo (Project Assistant/Socio-anthropologist for Insuco Burkina Faso) participated in the Conference TRAMIN2018 – Socio-environmental Trajectories of Mining Territories, that was held from 15 to 17 October 2018 in Chambéry, France. They presented some insights about the interaction between mining development and territory building in West Africa, as well as research results focused on the relation between gold mining in the southwestern part of Burkina Faso and the construction of a social status for a specific group of women living in this area.
