Insuco adopts an Artificial Intelligence Usage Policy

Dec 2025 | On the front page

As a research and advisory firm specialised in social sciences, we produce analyses and recommendations every day, drawing on cross-checked data collection, field observations, qualitative interviews and documentary reviews.

It is therefore natural for us to turn to Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimise and support our work. Yet we remain fully aware of its limits and risks: poorly controlled use, statistical bias, model hallucinations, threats to personal data protection, and social or environmental impacts.

An ethical and operational framework
Committed to pursuing innovation responsibly, we have just adopted an AI Usage Policy. This policy aligns both with the European Union’s AI Act and with the Principles for the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Impact Assessment (SP No. 16, Feb. 2026) issued by the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA), of which we are members.

The policy is the outcome of several months of work by a dedicated team: our AI4IA task force (Artificial Intelligence for Impact Assessment). It is now developing an operationalisation process that will enable all staff to make proper and informed use of AI through various tools (training modules, dedicated prompts, technical monitoring, etc.). All of this is guided by a consistent principle: ethical reflection and continuous vigilance in our practices.
