INSUCO Haiti is pleased to work with the consortium Initiative Developpement (ID) and Médecins du Monde Canada to realize a capitalization of the project FORSNUT (Strengthening the health system and actors of the Northwest in the face of malnutrition).

This project, which has been running for three years and is funded by the European Union, is being implemented in 10 municipalities in the North-West department. It aims to strengthen the dynamics of the different actors (communities, health institutions in particular) and their relations with each other as well as the dissemination of lessons and good practices developed.

The capitalization of FORSNUT will focus in particular on the role of Community Basic Organisations (CBOs) in promoting good health practice. It will be aimed at NGOs and institutions wishing to set up health promotion development programmes that place the BCO at the heart of the process.

Odniel JOsema, responsible for the fundraising of INSUCO Haiti, met with many stakeholders of the project in Bombardopolis, Port of Peace, Jean Rabel and Bassin Bleu and collected their testimonies through interviews and focus groups.
