IFSRA co-organised a workshop together with the INSS

Feb 2019 | News from Insuco

Our team from IFSRA (Institute For Social Research in Africa) co-organised on the 14th of February 2019 a workshop focused on RID research project, which aims to measure and monitor the local impact of natural resource extraction, together with the INSS (Institut des sciences des sociétés).

This study day gave the opportunity to share the first results of the project, following a large-scale experiment conducted in 2018 on 2000 households in Burkina Faso and Mozambique, and to open a dialogue between the Burkinabe government, the mining sector, research entities and the civil society. Thank you again to all the participants for this constructive exchange!
