Feb 2022 | News from Insuco

INSUCO, with the support of the Ford Foundation and in collaboration with ICSI (Insuco Center for Social Innovation), presents the second part of the sixth episode of Enlace Territorial: “Energy transition: global and local perspectives”.

In the previous episode we looked at the role that the implementation of energy transition plays in territorial transformations. This time we focus on three cases from the Andean region (Colombia, Chile and Ecuador) to learn about the challenges, progress and opportunities involved in implementing energy transition projects. We will also discuss how global agendas can set routes for action incorporating the local contexts, pace and needs of the territories.

To discuss the link between these agendas and to learn about the perspectives and implementation of energy transition in the Andean region, we will have the participation of Jorge Cantallopts (COCHILCO), CARLOS ANDRES CANTE PUENTES (Fenalcarbón), Gabriel Argüello R. (National Government of Ecuador) and Guillermo Gutiérrez (National Government of Ecuador). (National Government of Ecuador) and Guillen Calvo (Insuco).

With this episode we end our first season. We look forward to having you in the next ones to come.
