Collection and processing of data
We offer powerful tools for collecting data related to social management processes and understanding of territories. These tools allow us to generate a large amount of data in a short time, while ensuring the reliability of the data collected. Our approach is based on interfaces that are easy to implement, designed to allow rapid assimilation by our clients’ teams, based on open-source and ergonomic softwares.
We combine the use of the ONA on-line platform and the Open Data Kit (ODK) collection system. ONA (www.ona.io) is an aggregation and data processing platform on which we have a secure private account, to which our customers have access by session. The data is entered using the Geo-ODK application, which allows us to manage and apply questionnaires on smart phones or tablets (www.geoodk.com).
This system removes errors due to data transfer between surveyors and data entry agents. It also makes it possible to identify in real time the errors during the survey, and thus to correct them immediately. We deliver the data collected in different formats according to the needs of our customers: Excel spreadsheet, Access databases, WinDev-type application… We also use different solutions for data processing such as Stata, Sphynx and R.
In the context of these surveys, Insuco applies its data management and confidentiality policy, based on ethical principles, international standards and national legislation in force.
