Recent and ongoing projects

Mission:

In 2026, the Insuco and Veolia consortium was hired to provide technical assistance for the implementation of the Sustainability Matrix, with the following strategic objectives: i) to improve the company’s operational performance and efficiency; ii) to improve Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance; and iii) to integrate climate change issues into the company’s strategy. Insuco is responsible for the second objective related to strengthening CAGECE’s capacities and efforts to improve the environmental and social (E&S) performance of its operations, focusing on the harmonisation of the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS).

Results:

Insuco will deliver the following outputs:

• Strengthening of the ESMS: i) Work Plan; ii) Brief assessment; iii) ESMS aligned with EAS 9; ESMS Monitoring and Supervision Plan; iv) ESMS Implementation Strategy (Horizon 2033); v) ESMS Implementation Pilot Report (in two business units); and vi) Support note on the implementation of ISO 14001
• Biodiversity Risk Management: i) Biodiversity Management Assessment Framework; ii) Due Diligence
• Environmental and Social Due Diligence: i) Initial report; ii) Quarterly reports; iii) Annual reports; and iv) Training report on the ESMS Toolkit
• Coordination and co-construction: i) Steering Committee minutes (SC1 and SC2); ii) Final project presentation; and iii) Internal training and knowledge transfer workshops
