Corporate social responsibility framework for an industrial zone: in-depth socio-economic diagnosis among neighboring communities and co-construction of a territorial integration action plan.
Mission:
As part of the deployment of a new industrial zone, our mission consisted in conducting a qualitative territorial diagnosis among neighboring communities and co-constructing an operational social roadmap. By balancing ESG performance requirements with local realities, our intervention made it possible to transform social acceptability risks into levers for sustainable integration. The client expected our team to provide an objective reading of local dynamics, a detailed stakeholder mapping, and a clear identification of social vulnerabilities. To achieve this, we mobilized two experts: one in sociology and one in field-based social engineering.
Results:
The deliverables produced include a territorial socio-economic diagnosis as well as an operational social roadmap. Thanks to this mission, the project now has concrete tools to manage its local integration, defuse tensions, and strengthen its credibility with leading international investors attentive to ESG criteria.
