Strengthening the PREIT Program through Enhanced Anti-Corruption Approaches, Methodologies, and Monitoring Tools for Ethical and Transparent Business Management
Mission:
Insuco was engaged to strengthen the PREIT program by enhancing its anti-corruption approach, methodologies, and monitoring tools to better respond to current integrity challenges in the private sector. The client expected a comprehensive technical update that would reinforce both the conceptual framework and the practical application of the program, ensuring its relevance for companies operating in increasingly complex regulatory and social environments. Our multidisciplinary team worked closely with Transparencia por Colombia, combining expertise in governance, corporate integrity, and institutional strengthening. The mission included a review of national and international best practices on corporate ethics and anti-corruption systems, as well as direct engagement with program stakeholders through workshops and interviews with companies that had implemented PREIT. These exchanges allowed for a deeper understanding of practical challenges and opportunities for improvement.
Results:
Key deliverables included a consolidated report with strategic recommendations to strengthen the PREIT program and its anti-corruption approach, as well as an updated version of the “Barometer” tool. This instrument was refined to better measure the level of implementation of ethics, integrity, and anti-corruption mechanisms within companies, along with an updated user guide to support its application.
