Mid-term evaluation of the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) of the project “Ville nouvelle de Zenata”
Mission:
The Zenata Development Company (SAZ) required a mid-term specialized evaluation of the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) for the Zenata “New City” project. The main objective was to obtain an objective assessment of the RAP’s performance and the quality of its implementation to date. Insuco’s mission was to determine whether the resources deployed were aligned with the expected results and to assess the actual social impact on the displaced populations, in order to ensure that the project’s resettlement objectives were effectively achieved.
The assignment was carried out by a socio-economic expert over a four-month period, representing a total of 36 man-days of expertise.
Results:
The assignment resulted in the production of two main technical deliverables:
- Methodological Report: presenting the framework, indicators, and evaluation approach.
- Mid-term Evaluation Report: a comprehensive document detailing findings on RAP implementation, performance indicators, and impact assessments.
