Final evaluation of the project “Strengthening border management, social cohesion, and cross-border security in the Parrot's Beak area, in the border regions of the Republic of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone
Mission:
The mission aimed to assess the project “Strengthening Border Management, Social Cohesion, and Cross-Border Security in the Parrot’s Beak Area,” implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the International Trade Center (ITC), at the border regions of Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.
The final evaluation assessed the project’s performance in achieving the stated outcomes, the effectiveness and sustainability of the interventions, and the lessons learned. The evaluation covered all the OECD/DAC evaluation criteria, specifically those in the context of peacebuilding: relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and project impact.
Results:

- The inception report, with detailed work plan and data collection tools
- A presentation of the preliminary findings
- A final evaluation report
