Mission:
Together with the environmental partner Groupe Huit (G8), the mission consisted of conducting an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), a Stakeholders Engagement Plan (SEP) and a Resettlement Policy Framework (RPF), including analysis of the project’s social and land impacts, preliminary identification of people and property likely to be affected, and definition of the principles, procedures, and institutional frameworks applicable to the management of involuntary displacement and restoration of livelihoods, in accordance with national requirements and international standards.
