Mission:
The project aimed to carry out the evaluation of results of interventions in vulnerable migrant populations supported by UNHCR in El Salvador. The work was carried out through in-depth interviews with key actors, such as internally displaced populations, host communities, civil society organizations and implementing partners. A case study report was prepared, based on the characteristics requested by ITAD and UNHCR. In addition, the project participated in the implementation of Focus Groups for the evaluation of results, especially with vulnerable individuals and beneficiaries of the interventions.
Results:
The project is structured around the following components:
- Conducting Focus Groups and in-depth interviews with key actors, especially with vulnerable individuals and beneficiaries.
- Supporting the case study leader, Pierre Townsend, by conducting interviews with internally displaced persons (IDPs), host communities, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and implementing partners.
- The information collection was systematized under the methodological framework provided by ITAD and the evaluation leader.
- A case study report was prepared under the characteristics requested by the client (ITAD) and the funder (UNHCR).
- The fieldwork activities were developed according to the schedule shared by ITAD and attached.
