Training intended for public and private stakeholders on distinctive quality marks & labels of origin and on the social impact of certification mechanisms - Swisscontact and Artesanías de Colombia, in partnership with the Colipri project

Mission:

Identifying the rich socio-cultural assets of the country, as well as its local craftsmanship and agro-food heritage, Swisscontact and Artesanías de Colombia solicited Insuco to develop a training program targeting public officers and local stakeholders, addressing distinctive quality marks & labels of origin thought as success factors for territorial development, as well as potential methods to increase their social impact.

Results:

Insuco developed and implemented a 1 week training program, which gathered more than thirty national and international stakeholders. This program included in particular practical workshops in the Boyacá department, as well as a public seminar at the end of the program - developed in collaboration with Los Andes University - in which assisted more than 70 participants.
