In a spirit of increasing their production to meet strong global demand, the Ogoou\u00e9 mining company has planned an increase in its production capacity at the Moanda site, the COMILOG Project. The exploitation of the Bangomb\u00e9 Plateau edges was subject to an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) conducted in 2014, in accordance with Gabonese national regulations. Due to a human presence on the flanks of the Bangomb\u00e9 Plateau, physical and economic displacements were considered.<\/p>\n

In 2019, Insuco accompanied COMILOG for the realization of the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) concerning Bangomb\u00e9. This mission consisted of the finalization of the latter, namely the drafting of an updated document, complete and consistent with the physical and economic displacements of the populations affected by the COMILOG project and assistance for the holding of the public hearing.<\/p>\n
