The mission consisted in carrying out the preliminary studies for the formulation of the program “Paysage Sud \/ Sud-Est” whose objective is to ensure the sustainable development of rural territories by guaranteeing an inclusive growth and a responsible use of natural resources.<\/p>\n

The aim was to carry out the following two reference studies: (i) a detailed and complete mapping of the network of actors and stakeholders in the area based on a census of actors and the study of their relationships through the analysis of interests and the quantification of influence games around resources, (ii) a socio-economic baseline study based on quantitative surveys aimed at providing a quantified inventory of the living conditions of households and showing the issues and structuring dynamics at the scale of the area, in particular through an approach by ecosystem services to understand the interdependencies between human activities and the biological and physical environment.) For these two studies, particular attention was paid to the situation of the indigenous peoples of the area.<\/p>\n
