header_2_font_size_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; header_2_font_size_phone=&#8221;&#8221; header_2_font_size_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>MAHITSY hydro, part of the Tozzi Green Madagascar (TGM) group, is developing the Farahantsana Mahitsy hydroelectric power plant in Madagascar on the basis of a concession granted by the Ministry of Energy and Hydrocarbons (MEH) to establish, own, operate and maintain a 28MW T-line facility at a voltage of 63kV for the purpose of transiting electricity from the plant. Following its environmental clearance by the National Environment Office in 2019, construction work on the line started in January 2020 and was accompanied by a compensation and involuntary resettlement management strategy.
