Since the early 1960s, CBG has been exploiting a large bauxite plateau in the Bok\u00e9 Region, in Guinea. Since 2014, the company has launched an expansion project – financed by the IFC – to increase its production capacity. In this context of expansion, relocations are underway and are planned. CBG has developed a Resettlement Policy Framework (RPF) in 2015 that formalizes an approach to resettlement policy. The principles set out in this document no longer correspond today to the procedures implemented and actually observed in the field.<\/p>\n

In order to develop a consistent approach to resettlement, the company has mandated Insuco to carry out this review while taking into consideration the company’s practices as implemented since 2015.<\/p>\n
