In this process, they identified the need to strengthen their current social management, proposing as a first step the development of a Social Governance Framework that defines the company&#8217;s management vision in this area, the lines of action, as well as the approach and strategy to be deployed.<\/p>\n<p>The Social Governance Framework should respond and ensure the alignment of the organization with the requirements of international standards of sustainability and social management such as those established by the International Finance Corporation, the Global Reporting Initiative, the International Council on Mining and Metals, among others; as well as with the regulations of Peru, Mexico and Argentina.<\/p>\n<p>Insuco implemented the following activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Definition of the analysis framework;<\/li>\n<li>Gap analysis: meetings with each of the social management leaders of the mining projects to collect information on policies, procedures and actions currently implemented by the organization. On this basis, the level of maturity of the social management systems has been established and the gaps to fill identified;<\/li>\n<li>Elaboration of the social governance framework: pillars of social management were established at strategic and performance levels, considering international standards, national legislations and Fortuna Silver&#8217;s social management approach.
