Bel Air Mining, filiale d\u2019Alufer Mining, a obtenu un permis de recherche en vue de d\u00e9velopper un projet bauxitique dans la r\u00e9gion administrative de Lab\u00e9. Afin de convertir ce permis de recherche en permis d\u2019exploitation, Bel Air Mining a souhait\u00e9 r\u00e9aliser une mission de cadrage et un Plan d\u2019Engagement des Parties Prenantes (PEPP) sur la future zone de la mine, dans le respect des normes guin\u00e9ennes.<\/p>\n

L\u2019objectif \u00e9tait d\u2019obtenir de la part des autorit\u00e9s guin\u00e9ennes comp\u00e9tentes la certification environnementale et sociale du permis minier afin d\u2019\u00eatre en r\u00e8gle avec la politique nationale en mati\u00e8re d\u2019Etudes d\u2019Impact Environnemental et Social (EIES).<\/p>\n

  • Un examen des politiques, des lois et des r\u00e8glements que le projet doit respecter dans le cadre de l\u2019exploitation des gisements de bauxite, conform\u00e9ment aux exigences l\u00e9gales guin\u00e9ennes<\/li>\n
  • Une description des conditions environnementales et sociales dans la zone du projet, y compris les conditions physiques, biologiques, sociales, \u00e9conomiques et culturelles, notamment par la mise en \u0153uvre de : (i) Sur le plan social : une \u00e9tude de cadrage reprenant les premi\u00e8res donn\u00e9es socio-\u00e9conomiques (recensement et enqu\u00eates non exhaustives), des enqu\u00eates sur le patrimoine culturel, des enqu\u00eates sur les infrastructures socio-\u00e9conomiques ; (ii) Sur le plan environnemental : une \u00e9tude de cadrage incluant une premi\u00e8re cartographie de l’habitat<\/li>\n
  • Une identification des potentiels impacts du projet en prenant en compte les opinions des parties prenantes (communaut\u00e9s, autorit\u00e9s locales, entreprises, associations\/ONG)<\/li>\n
  • Une \u00e9bauche des mesures d’att\u00e9nuation n\u00e9cessaires pour \u00e9viter, minimiser et g\u00e9rer les impacts n\u00e9gatifs (ou am\u00e9liorer les impacts positifs), \u00e0 la fois pour la conception technique, la construction, l’exploitation ou les phases de fermeture du projet<\/li>\n
  • Une estimation des impacts cumulatifs associ\u00e9s au projet<\/li>\n
  • Une analyse des parties prenantes et de leurs potentielles interactions avec le projet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
