Bel Air Mining est une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 priv\u00e9e centr\u00e9e sur l\u2019extraction de la Bauxite en Guin\u00e9e. Elle a obtenu le 3 mai 2010 un permis d\u2019exploration pour une dur\u00e9e de 3 ans \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du Cap Verga, dans la pr\u00e9fecture de Boffa. Le Permis \u00ab Bel Air-Sud \u00bb s\u2019\u00e9tend sur une superficie de 417 km\u00b2. Bel Air Mining a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de rentrer en phase de production de bauxite en 2016 et a souhait\u00e9 pour cela mettre \u00e0 jour les \u00e9tudes sociales et environnementales au regard du nouveau design du projet.<\/p>\n

La mission a consist\u00e9 dans un premier temps \u00e0 reprendre les \u00e9tudes faites en 2011 et mettre en avant les compl\u00e9ments \u00e0 leur apporter pour les mettre en conformit\u00e9 avec les normes de la SFI. Dans un second temps, l\u2019\u00e9tude a consist\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser les \u00e9tudes compl\u00e9mentaires pour mettre en conformit\u00e9 l\u2019Etude d\u2019Impact Environnement et Social (EIES) et le Plan de Gestion Environnemental et Social (PGES), du projet.<\/p>\n
